When I asked Kate what she was looking for in a photographer she said " I want them to capture the classic portraits of family members and the wedding itself but I also love candid pictures, creative poses and anything that captures the night. I am not a creative person by nature so I rely on the eye of the photographer." This is exactly the kind of client I attract because I am a mix of artistic, fun stylistic formals, and photojournalism.
This Waterfront Venue is the perfect wedding spot for an Eastern Shore Wedding. Kate has a natural affection for the area because she grew up near the shore. One of my favorite aspects of photographing at the Chesapeake Bay Beach club is that everything is one spot. Couples are able to have an outdoor ceremony with the bay bridge in the background, barefoot beach portraits, and absolutely incredible service from everyone there. I have never had a bad meal there and trust me I have had a LOT of venue meals.
The Tavern Ballroom has a vaulted wood ceiling in a Tavern style bar that overlooks the Chesapeake Bay. The wedding was a simple, elegant, classic affair with a pink and white color scheme. The arrangements by Michale Design Florist were placed in antique crystal chandeliers and filled with white hydrangeas, pink roses, and organic greenery set on crisp white linens.
