Destination Engagement sessions are always an adventure. When Erin asked me to come and photograph her & Arthur in Detroit I jumped at the chance. There was a wealth of backgrounds and fun photographic adventures to be had.. If you haven’t visited Detroit I highly recommend it for a weekend get away. In August I had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in Erin’s wedding. It’s strange putting the camera down and attending a wedding for me. Photographing a friend’s weddings is tough because I have to pick work over partying at the wedding. Trusting the photographer they have hired…usually with my help and not bringing my camera is the only way I can attend a wedding. The historic Vanderbilt Mansion called The Marble House had my brain spinning with photographic ideas. Photographing a Rhode Island Wedding is definitely on my bucket list.
