I think the wedding turned out exactly the way they wanted it to because it was STUNNING and flawless. Hilary’s sister did a phenomenal job planning and putting together all the details of the day! This was a destination wedding for both of them because Hilary grew up in PA and Phil is from CT so the families came from all around to celebrate with them in Alexandria!
The wedding party was a blast to work with even thought it was a scorcher of a day. I am always amazed at how much easier a day goes when they cooperate and have fun with me for the photos. The light was perfect streaming through the cobbled street of Alexandria and setting off the vibrant colors of the bridesmaids dresses. Phil and Hilary are obviously in love because they spent most of the day laughing and looked fantastic together in photos. Hilary’s blue eyes were amazing and I love that Phil rocked a hat with his grey suit!
I have never seen the room at Hotel Monaco so colorful! The pinks and purples popped off of the grey walls and made the atmosphere sophisticated yet comfortable for their guests. The party was SO much fun thanks to MyDeejay who always gets the guests going! I saw some insane dance moves out there on the floor! Custom labeled beers were their favors! Guests were told to mix Phil (a dark beer) and Hilary (a light beer) together to make a black and tan. I love their sense of humor and unique favor idea!

I loved that the bridal party each wore a different style dress but all in the same color and fabric, they really looked great. Loved the guys too and Phil looked awesome in his hat.
